Golden Globe Awards, Minus the Celebs

Yeah, I know it's been a while. But enough about me...

I'm watching the Golden Globe award winners being announced on Access Hollywood, and LOVING it. It's so refreshing to watch actors recognized for their work and not for the outfits they happen to wear to a award show.

I'm sure that most of the world has to differ, but I personally hope this becomes a tradition. Who cares what Nikki Blonsky is wearing, or who lent Katherine Heigl some over-the-top diamonds to wear for the "big night." These awards are about celebrating the talent that we have left in the entertainment industry...so long as we continue to do that, I'm OK.
